Kozhikode City (10 Kms): It is the third largest city in Kerala and the middle Ages, Calicut dubbed the “City of Spices” for its role as the major trading point of eastern spices. Kozhikode was once the capital of an independent kingdom of the same name and later of the erstwhile Malabar district.
Beypore (5Kms): Beypore is famous for its boat building yard where mammoth crafts known as Urus are being built. It is a major fishing harbor of Kerala
Chaliyam (7 Kms): An island in Kadalundi formed by the Beypore and Kadalundi rivers, Chaliyam was formerly the terminus of the Madras Railway.

Mananchira Square (10 Kms): The historic maithan, adjacent to Mananchira has been converted into an arcadia with beautiful trees and plants, artificial hill, shrubs, sculpture, and open air theatre and above all, a musical fountain.
Pazhassi Raja Museum (15 Kms): Copes of ancient mural paintings, antiques, bronzes, old coins, models of temples, megalithic monuments like dolomonoid cysts, umbrella stones etc. are displayed here.
Science Centre and Planetarium (10 Kms): Regional Science Centre and Planetarium are at the city’s Jaffarkhan Colony offers extensive insight into the mysteries of the universe, the planets and the galaxies. There are daily shows at 12:00, 14:00, 16:00, and 18:00
SM Street (10 Kms): Sweet Meat street, popularly known as SM Street with its cross roads, is the busiest shopping spot of Kozhikode. Old bakery shops here are known for the famous Kozhikode halwa and banana chips.
Thusharagiri (48 Kms) : Thusharagiri is 48 Km from Kozhikode and is one of the recently identified tourist centers. The waterfalls and streams amidst the hilly regions are really a feast to the eyes.
